first shot at....BAKING..

I went to winnie's house today to bake cake, or rather, learn how to bake cake. Its been a long time since I whipped up something in the kitchen. The last time I did something was to cook mee tai mak after learning it during home econs. So that was probably in sec 2. Anyway, I just helped to beat and mix the stuff and pour stuff to weigh. I think I was like a hindrance since I knew nuts about baking.
The cake turned out great although we didnt really follow the instructions as in we didn measure the stuff properly. And we baked the cake for around 45 mins instead of the stipulated time of 25 mins. But no choice la, since the interior of the cake wasnt really done at 25 mins. We learned that next time, we should just follow instructions and leave the cake in the open after heating cause they harden on their own! ha..In any case, the cake taste great and its the first cake I had a hand in baking. Btw, it was a marble fudge cake.Hah.
Ok. I should try baking myself cause its actually quite fun. My sister actually asked me to get the recipe to teach her how to make that fudge cake. Haha. ok. And now I have a splitting headache probably because of the immense heat. Its always the heat thats making my head spin. No wonder my sentences probably dont flow.argh.I am so giddy, my head is so pain, I feel like puking. I know it dont make sense but thats how I feel right now.
